Welcome to Weckipedia’s Canning Crew, the membership for people who believe a glass jar is far more interesting when it is full. This is where the serious pantry building happens. As a member of the Canning Crew, you step behind the public face of Weckipedia and into the working pantry: new recipes, unusual flavour combinations, flavour experiments worth repeating and the occasional recipe that makes you wonder why nobody thought of putting that in a jar before. Expect plenty of Canning in Glass Jars. Meat, fruit, vegetables, soups, sauces, puddings, cakes, old recipes dragged back into daylight, curious ideas from kitchens around the world and entirely new creations developed by Weckipedia specifically for the jar. This membership is for people who would rather make a pantry than merely admire one on Pinterest. Members can expect things such as: exclusive Weckipedia recipes early access to all recipes (yes, all of them) printable recipe material, themed recipe collections, unusual ingredients and flavour combinations, occasional members-only surprises from the pantry. Some recipes will be reassuringly traditional. Others may involve wild boar, green tomatoes, elderberries, improbable quantities of plums, recipes rescued from century-old cookbooks, or ingredients that have absolutely no intention of behaving themselves. That is rather the point. Weckipedia’s Canning Crew is not a feed full of recycled “10 easy jam recipes.” It is a growing library for people who want to explore what can genuinely be done with food, heat and glass.
